Digital Marketer

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Officer to manage our online sales channels, drive digital marketing initiatives, enhance customer engagement and grow the company's digital presence. The successful candidate will oversee e-commerce platforms, WhatsApp Business, digital advertising, content creation, online customer care and performance reporting, while supporting business growth through data-driven strategies.

Roles & responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise the company's e-commerce platforms and WhatsApp Business to drive online sales and enhance customer experience.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, the company website and other digital channels.
  • Create engaging content and maintain a consistent content calendar for all digital platforms.
  • Monitor online sales performance, customer engagement, website traffic and campaign effectiveness, providing regular management reports.
  • Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends and pricing to support strategic decision-making.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries across digital platforms and maintain excellent customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate product information, inventory availability and timely order fulfilment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital performance, increase conversions and achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, digital marketing best practices and applicable data protection regulations.
Education & certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Digital Marketing (e.g. Google Digital Marketing, Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
Technical & behavioural competencies
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience managing WhatsApp Business, online stores and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Proficiency in content creation, copywriting and basic graphic design tools (e.g. Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret digital marketing and sales performance data.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Good understanding of SEO, SEM and social media advertising.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive online sales.
  • High level of integrity and understanding of data privacy and digital compliance requirements.
  • Self-motivated and innovative, able to work independently as well as within a team.
